Having your own website doesn’t have to be expensive, especially when you can find free web pages templates online. You can find free website templates at FreeTemplatesOnline.com.

Free website design templates make it inexpensive, paired with a low cost hosting company such as godaddy.com. With godaddy.com, you can have a website going for around $5/month.

Install Your Own Hard Drive In A PC

Not only is the internet full of TONS of free information articles, but there are also lots and lots of informational videos that you can use to educate yourself on any number of tasks.

With the creation of video sites like YouTube, you can learn so many different things about your computer, how to upgrade, etc. One caveat to watching videos on YouTube is to watch several about the same topic to see if one video leaves something out, or if they agree with each other.

Along those lines, you can learn how to install a new hard drive yourself: “Installing a new hard drive”.

After watching those videos on installing a hard drive, you can see that it’s not too difficult to do a hard drive replacement.

But why would you replace a hard drive?
It could be that your hard drive is full. It could be that you are getting hard drive failure messages. Or it could be that you just want to upgrade your hard drive to a larger capacity so that it doesn’t get full. The cheap hard drives now having 1TB or 1.5TB capacity are great. By cheap I should probably say inexpensive in price. Buying a new hard drive should be like anything else…look for the best deal on hard drives before you buy.

Internet Lingo Site Down

At any given moment, many websites can receive so many hits that they go down.

Netlingo.com is such a site as of right now. As user’s scrambled to find the definition for the acronym KUTGW (Keep Up The Good Work) because it somehow became a Google Trend, the website went down, unable to handle the numerous requests.

Known as the Internet Dictionary for popular phrases, acronyms, etc, the site provides numerous definitions for people wanting to know more of the “internet lingo” that exists in our society today.

So, give it a few days (maybe even tomorrow), and check it out.

Sign up for one of their free subscription services such as Word of the Day Jargon, Word of the Day Business, Word of the Day Technical, or the not always so safe Acronym of the Day. (Parents, this could be helpful in deciphering text messages your teens and children send and receive).

As of right now, my Firefox tab is still trying to hit the site, with no success.

Fix for AVG iTunes Virus Small.bog

Apparently the free antivirus software AVG has misdiagnosed some on one or more iTunes files labeling them “small.bog”, a trojan horse.

If you get a popup from your free AVG antivirus software claiming that the small.bog virus is on your system, DO NOT heal it. Otherwise, you may corrupt your music file or important iTunes files.

To open iTunes successfully, do the following:
1) open AVG
2) go to TOOLS then click ADVANCED SETTINGS
3) go down to where it says EXCEPTIONS then click at the top right, ADD PATH
4) then navigate to C:\Program Files\iTunes\ and click OK.
5) then navigate to C:\Program Files\iPod\ an click OK
6) Then click APPLY and then OK
7) Restart PC(computer)

AVG’s has a forum post suggesting what to do in the event of a false positive: AVG False Positive.

I will add that even though this has become a widespread issue for many iTunes users, AVG all in all is a great FREE antivirus software. I have personally detected threats with AVG that even Norton antivirus didn’t find. I recommend this software to my clients as well.

For those of you who believe that AVG is not as good as I suggest it is, explain why AVG is almost always a top search on such websites as CNET.com?
