I like the new Google Buzz service (search Twitter for #buzz), but I have found stories of people that want to turn off Google Buzz because of stalking or other issues.

Unfortunately, as with any social media, stalkers can ruin the fun for some.   I just read a forum post where a gal had blocked her ex-boyfriend from her gmail chat, but he is now a follower on her Google Buzz.

So, if you have a situation like this, and want to turn off Google Buzz, it’s really simple.    Scroll all the way down to the bottom of your gmail page (when you’re logged in of course) and click “turn off buzz”.

As for the rest of you who don’t want to turn it off (like me), happy buzzing!
